“Last orders” for GG Quadster and GG Taurus
After more than ten successful years, Swiss company Grüter + Gut GmbH, Technik + Emotion is planning to stop production of the GG Quadster and GG Taurus at the end of 2015, both of which were developed by the company itself. Anyone who is still keen to get hold of one of these vehicles and enjoy the many truly unique features they offer therefore needs to act quickly. Orders will continue to be taken until the end of August 2015.
The GG Quadster is an absolute masterpiece on four wheels. Crafted to the customary Swiss quality standard, with an excitingly sporty design and high-precision technology, this vehicle has the wow factor. It was developed and constructed in-house by experienced engineers using state-of-the-art equipment and therefore guarantees reliability, safety, perfect functionality and – most importantly of all – a unique, thrilling driving experience.
If ever there was proof that less is more, it is the GG Taurus – as this eye-catching model demonstrates to impressive effect. This three-wheeler offers the same high-quality design features and equipment as the GG Quadster, but with one less wheel and no electronic driver assistance system, it promises an even more dynamic driving performance – and therefore even more fun for adrenaline-loving drivers.
With new, more stringent noise and emissions regulations set to come into force next year, Grüter + Gut GmbH has no choice but to stop production of its two in-house creations at the end of the year. Thanks to its distinctive characteristics, including smooth performance, powerful torque and exceptional manoeuvrability, the inline four-cylinder engine used in the GG Quadster and GG Taurus was and still is the perfect power train. With the bar set so high, using another engine is simply not an option.
However, even though Grüter + Gut GmbH will no longer be producing these two exclusive models, this does not mean that the company will cease operations altogether – quite the opposite, in fact. The supply of spare parts and accessories for all vehicles made by GG will of course be guaranteed. The annual GG Weekends, which have proved hugely popular with customers, will also continue to take place. Whether any new GG vehicles will be produced in future depends on a variety of factors, but never say never.
